Our client is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join their global Government Solutions Sales team in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic New Space environment within a scale-up business.  

The company 

Our client enable businesses to make informed decisions in commercial and governmental projects by providing a reliable and well-renowned satellite imagery service. Their satellites can take photos of Earth at any point in time, in any condition, allowing customers to make better decisions. They are quickly growing and evolving into a global force of professionals with backgrounds in engineering, software development and radar technology.

The role

This role is a balance between managing key customer accounts on a long-term basis and identifying new opportunities across Europe. You will be passionate about customer success as you will act as the key point of contact for your assigned accounts. 

As well as that, your day-to-day responsibilities will include things like: 

  • Developing and executing penetration strategy 
  • Building, growing, and developing key business relationships 
  • Supporting proposals for Government prospects  
  • Ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are being built 

The requirements

Geospatial experience or emergency management experience, in addition to:

  • Strong experience in managing and winning ESA R&D ITTS 
  • Experience working with PAN European Organisations 
  • Background selling SAE-related products 
  • Experience in managing and winning proposals 
  • Self-motivated, proactive work style 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment  
  • Comfortable working remotely  
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) 
  • French, German, or Spanish language skills are a plus
