What you’ll be doing
You will be crucial to the growth and success of our client's company. This role goes beyond sales; it's about shaping the future of facility management through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions. You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, driving sustained revenue, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Lead sales activities, including defining go-to-market strategies and managing the sales closure process
- Build a strong pipeline with prospective and existing clients through business development initiatives to exceed your annual sales targets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
- Manage daily sales activities, including lead engagement, prospect outreach, call activities and CRM management
- Prepare for weekly revenue meetings, develop proposals and strategise to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in networking events and industry forums
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the East Coast, USA and will be happy to travel 50% or more to customers and prospects.
You’ll have 5+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience managing complex client relationships and sales cycles
- A Bachelors Degree, MBA Preferred
- Proven track record in selling Consulting Services, especially in Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects
- Strong industry experience in Public Works, Higher Education, DOT, and SLED sectors
- Excellent communication skills and experience in a start-up culture.
- Expert Knowledge of the construction industry (Project Controls) and PMIS Systems is preferre
- Experience in maintaining client portfolios and understanding design-construction industry trends
