Do you have a knack for teaching people how to get the best out of software? Our client is on the hunt for a Software Trainer to join their exciting team and help deliver their range of training courses based on their world-class software.

An established player in the construction and facilities management sector, our client supports customers across the entire building lifecycle with cutting-edge technology solutions - including CMMS and design tools to name a few.

With an over 100-year history, they’re now accelerating towards further growth as they look to pivot a select portion of their portfolio to SaaS.
  
What you’ll be doing 
In this role, you will be tasked with delivering training courses on our client’s range of software and associated products to customers in your region.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
  • Delivering online, classroom and onsite training courses to various customers
  • Designing & planning content delivery to meet specific client needs
  • Guiding installation, setup, and operation of our client’s software portfolio
  • Reporting to management on training challenges and gap analysis to improve future offerings

A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Southampton or the surrounding area.

You’ll have a Degree or A-level qualification in a relevant field and ideally, previous experience in high-level engineering, using similar software that you would be training people on.

A few other key skills we are looking for:
  • Experience in delivering training courses both online & in-person for software
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively both externally in training sessions and internally
  • Enjoys working as part of a wider team, working together to achieve shared goals & vision
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job, highlighting both features & benefits of products clearly to customers
  • Able to work independently when required to understand the greater functional workings of the software you will be teaching
  • An appetite to be involved in the creation of future Learning Management System content
