Our client are searching for a Senior Tyre Science Engineer to aid in the development and application of advanced tools to boost the performance of their cars’ tyres. What you’ll be doing 
As Senior Tyre Science Engineer, you will be a key player in the development and application of advanced tools with a focus on tyres. You will be looking to constantly improve the performance of the car through innovative techniques.

Your day to day might look a little like this:
•    Continually assessing the correlation of both physical and empirical tyre models, conducting research to seek improvements to modelling techniques
•    Leading the monitoring of the performance of all sensors that are directly and indirectly related to tyres
•    Completing post-race analysis and reporting of tyre performance, focusing on finding ways to improve the tyres in the future
•    Proposing tyre testing items and reporting any findings with a data driven approach

A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in South East England.

You’ll have extensive Vehicle Dynamics experience, as well as comprehensive knowledge of onboard sensors and instrumentations used to monitor tyre performance.

A few other key skills we are looking for:
•    This can be a physically demanding role. You will need to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy mental demands
•    A strong technical background in engineering, physics, and applied mathematics
•    Quick decision-making skills, working through problems in a scientific and analytical way
•    Sympathetic approach to working with colleagues at all levels of the business
