What you’ll be doing
You will work as a Senior Tyre Science Engineer both at the track and back in the factory. You will provide essential support during race weekends and attend trackside races and testing.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Formulate pre-event reporting
- Contribute to post-event analysis and reporting of tyre performance
- Collaborate with tyre science and software engineers on the design and development of tools used to monitor the performance
- Review testing techniques and suggest changes for improvements
- Manage the tyre stock
- Supervise and mentor junior tyre engineers
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based within a commutable distance of Banbury, UK.
You’ll have a strong technical background in racing tyres.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
- Good understanding of the MAT-Atlas package
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite
- Experience and knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink
- Consistently set and meet high standards of work
- Comfortable in stressful and time-sensitive situations
- Quick decision-making skills
- Thrives in a team environment
- A can-do attitude
