The role
As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you’ll join a hybrid vehicle team to develop solutions that balance design and performance. You’ll move at speed to engineer products ranging from traction inverters to fast chargers, with the ultimate goal of creating concepts that are compact, uncomplicated, and above all, sustainable.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with experts, nationally and internationally
  • Sourcing to make premium products available to more people
  • Manage projects to deliver on schedule, on budget and within constraints 
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure products remain cost-effective

The requirements
If you have experience in 400-800v system design and development – particularly coming from a small company – we want to hear from you. Other requirements include:
  • Degree educated in an Electric/Electronics engineering discipline (MS is a plus)
  • Strong (5+ years’) experience working with complex power electronics systems, from development to market
  • Practical experience with high power-density DC/AC and DC/DC power converters
  • Familiar with simulation tools including MATLAB-Simulink
  • High-quality track record of work delivered in a leadership role
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills  
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing techniques and the latest materials technology 
  • Able to work under pressure delivering high-quality designs to crucial deadlines
