Our client is looking for a dedicated hunter/farmer to join their team in Munich, Germany and develop a 3–5-year business development strategy to ensure expansion across the assigned global account.

The role 
As a Senior Director – Account Management, you will be responsible for the maximisation of the global Account penetration and profitable growth of a defined Key Account. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing long-term relationships with the organisation's global and multinational clients.  
Other responsibilities include: 

  • Act as an interface between the customer and the internal organisation 
  • Act as the advocate for the customer’s interests 
  • Build a deep understanding of the client’s business and its industry 
  • Developing and modifying the Account Plan 
  • Setting a long-term goal for the company within the Account 
  • Leading, coordinating and motivating the global Account Team 

The requirements 
You’ll have proven experience in account management, preferably with a global or multinational focus, as well as:

  • Educated to degree level 
  • Prior experience working in a matrix organisation  
  • A strategic thinker 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Revenue-driven mindset  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in SalesForce and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Fluent in German and English 
  • Based in Munich, Germany
