Our client is currently seeking a Software Sales Account Manager to join their team remotely across Germany and the wider DACH region, to be responsible for winning new business and making an impact on relationships and projects across the territory.

The role 
As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll bring your selling experience and skills to this role by leading our client’s accounts and growth for strategic customers within the region including orders, sales, and profit.   

Other responsibilities include: 
  • Developing new customer accounts and grow business volume   
  • Creating and executing sales strategies and account plans  
  • Developing Go-To-Market plans for the territory   
  • Building specialised knowledge of the latest commercial developments  
  • Contributing towards strategy and policy development   
  • Ensuring operational excellence for the customer base 
The requirements 
You’ll have significant Direct Digital Sales experience with enterprise software, as well as:  
  • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering 
  • A track record of providing value-based software solutions to the Transmission and Distribution industries is a must   
  • Sales acumen with strong negotiating and closing skills  
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to work under pressure   
  • Customer orientated  
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure 
  • A growth mindset with excellent negotiating and closing skills  
  • Able to build strong, professional relationships with C-Level stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)  
  • Fluent in German/Dutch and English   
  • An EU Work permit
