What you’ll be doing 
We are seeking a results-driven Executive to drive new business within the US renewable energy sector. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new logos, with a focus on both mid-market and strategic, high-value enterprise deals. You’ll deliver live software demonstrations that effectively showcase the value of the company’s platform, aligning with customer needs and project challenges.

Your day to day might look a little like this:
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Research and engage named accounts, leveraging tools to identify key decision-makers and craft personalised outreach
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound leads and networking
  • Develop compelling business cases and deliver tailored product demonstrations that align with customer pain points and initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts creatively and close deals efficiently
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including sales activities, forecasts and pipeline management
  • Represent the business at industry events and conferences to expand reach

A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the USA, however this is a remote role.  

You’ll have 5+ years of recent B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of closing complex deals and proven success in selling to mid-market and enterprise accounts, including sourcing and closing five- and six-figure deals

A few other key skills our client is looking for:
  • Strong ability to prospect and self-generate opportunities through cold outreach, networking and referrals
  • Experience leading full-cycle sales in a remote environment while consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Conduct live software demonstrations and tailoring presentations to address customer pain points, needs, and business objectives
  • Deep understanding of modern sales frameworks, consultative selling and negotiation strategies
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner with and facilitate feedback loops across teams, particularly Product and Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic
