Do you have experience selling SaaS solutions into the public sector? Are you ambitious? Our client is offering a role as a Senior Account Executive where you will get the opportunity to be a visible player at a major software company.

This company is a market leader in the construction solutions industry and is on a mission to help public sector agencies and facility owners plan, deliver and maintain their capital projects and assets safely and efficiently. Their award-winning software solutions are trusted by over 300 customers in transportation, water and utilities, healthcare, higher education, and government on over 40,000 projects across North America.

The role
You’ll be supported by pre-sales and product demonstration teams, and will be armed with some of the best references in the public sector to help ensure your success when conducting the sale of the company’s solutions. Relationships are vital to this role as you will be needed to interact with C level executives and senior IT staff decision makers at public agencies as well as collaboration with internal teams on your day to day. 
Other responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the VP Sales in developing the sales strategy and opportunity win strategies 
  • Being a hands-on sales executive who can evangelize the product in front of customers and drive deals across the sales process 
  • Maintain healthy and predictable revenue growth by establishing and consistently meeting execution milestones related your sales targets.  
  • Be directly involved in new sales and upsell into your assigned opportunities 


The requirements
Our client would like you to have significant experience (5-10 years) selling large dollar SaaS software, especially with systems like SAP, Maximo or Oracle Primavera is a bonus. There also looking for: 

  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Someone who has obtained a Bachelor’s degree 
  • Interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills are all advantageous  
  • Confidence in presenting technology to solve business automation problems to large enterprises 
  • Someone with experience selling into the public sector
