What you’ll be doing
You’ll be supporting an inside and field-based sales team to, simply, help them get sales. Essentially, you’re there to make sure sales processes run smoothly.
Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
- Looking after customer enquiries
- Creating new quotes for prospective customers
- Making prospecting calls
- Vetting new customer opportunities to pass on to the sales team
- Coordinating with different internal teams
- Overseeing shipping for orders made
- Managing customer payments
- Keeping CRM data up to date
A bit about you
The main thing they’re looking for is someone who has experience in a sales administration role or inside sales role. They’re also after:
- Someone who understands shipping logistics
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage orders and documents
- Someone with excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Someone comfortable with picking up the phone to prospective customers
