Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to join their global Government Solutions Sales team in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic New Space environment within a scale-up business.  

The company 

Our client enable businesses to make informed decisions in commercial and governmental projects by providing a reliable and well-renowned satellite imagery service. Their satellites can take photos of Earth at any point in time, in any condition, allowing customers to make better decisions. They are quickly growing and evolving into a global force of professionals with backgrounds in engineering, software development and radar technology.

The role

You will be uniquely focused on selling SAR solutions to help government organisations respond quickly in times of emergency recovery across Europe. 

As well as that, your day-to-day responsibilities will include things like: 

  • Lead generation and managing the existing sales pipeline 
  • Developing key relationships with Government agencies 
  • Developing a long-term sales pipeline 
  • Time for self-development, research, training, conferences, or certification schemes 

The requirements

You will have deep experience with Government Sales across emergency management, Geospatial solutions or related technical areas, in addition to:

  • A record of working with Government Services 
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a sales portfolio 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent work style 
  • 5-7+ years of business development experience 
  • A strong network at Government agencies throughout Europe 
  • Comfortable working remotely  
  • No problem with frequent travels 
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
