Are you an entrepreneurial individual with a passion for technology? Our client is looking for a tech-savvy Sales Executive to join their sales team and position their company as a key player in the industrial digital transformation space.

The company 

We are working in partnership with a unique and expert provider of simulation and modelling applications for the industrial markets including oil and gas, chemicals, sustainability and more. Having grown quickly their solutions are already utilised by engineers in over 30 countries and by hundreds of leading engineering organisations to optimise process design. Their solutions are favoured by governments, researchers, students, and academic environments to solve complex chemistry challenges thanks to their reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness. 

The role 

As a Sales Executive, you will focus on penetrating our client’s market opportunity by creating acquisition strategies to grow the customer base. You’ll utilise your network of contacts and clients to increase the company’s awareness amongst senior executives in key industries. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Analysing the market to identify growth opportunities 
  • Developing accounts with loyal, long-term customers to gain a closer awareness of their priorities 
  • Showcasing our client’s value proposition and key differentiators to position the company as a leading process modelling solution 
  • Identifying opportunities to pilot next-generation technologies with key accounts
  • Hitting team-oriented revenue objectives, driven by metrics 
  • Devising detailed account plans, pipeline assessments and sales forecasts 

The requirements 

You’ll have a range of 7-10 years of experience in enterprise Sales, as well as: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline 
  • Understanding of selling assets and process modelling and simulation software or aligned complex solutions 
  • Extensive experience in European business and market development 
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering outcomes to clients within complex and demanding operating environments 
  • Strong network in the following industries; Lithium, Geothermal corrosion, C02 economy, Hydrogen or Water treatment or aligned 
  • Ability to work well in cross-functional teams in a small environment
  • Able to handle ambiguity and change with confidence 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer engagement skills 
  • Able to travel internationally and across the territory as required
