What you’ll be doing 
Your main goal will be to lead the continued growth of our client by generating new business opportunities within manufacturing accounts and recommending new software to existing customers.  

Your day-to-day might look a little like this:

  • Developing and executing a sturdy territory strategy to drive bookings growth and win new customers
  • Actively prospecting within your network to generate new leads and provide commercial insights to customers
  • Managing complex sales cycles and leading your territory team to consistently exceed customer expectations
  • Negotiating favourable prices and business terms with large enterprises
  • Providing timely and insightful input to other corporate functions within the company such as product management and marketing


A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Houston, Texas with the ability to travel throughout your territory during work.

You’ll have at least 7 years of successful software sales experience within manufacturing with an extensive knowledge of the value chains in the industry.

A few other key skills we are looking for:

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding software booking goals with new customers
  • Well-versed in important manufacturing use cases, such as yield optimization and quality improvement
  • Detail-oriented and strong relationship-building skills, with a keen focus on delivering high levels of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, including strong presentation skills
