Do you have a knack for understanding complex technical information and translating it into actionable insights? Our client is looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join their team and help us revolutionize the way the electrical grid is managed.

What you’ll be doing
You will deliver a unified vision of the value of the company’s products to the prospective customer. Translating and explaining highly complex technical information to those prospective customers, focusing on revealing how our products can solve their specific problems
 
Your day to day might look a little like this: 
•    Qualify prospective customers in order to provide tailored sales demonstrations and guide them toward the right product
•    Formalize the key value propositions of each of the products 
•    Define and understand the key personas that make up target markets 
•    Facilitate smooth transitions for customers when moving from prospect to new customer 
•    Provide subject matter expertise on product use cases and market knowledge for internal training
 
A bit about you 
Ideally, you’ll be based in the US and are happy to travel 10-20% of the time when appropriate
 
You’ll have 2-5 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science or a related technical field - or equivalent work experience
 
A few other key skills our client is looking for: 
•    Experience with Bid to Bill solutions
•    Working knowledge of North American nodal power markets 
•    Comfortable providing technical presentations to audiences of various sizes
•    Experience with CAISO MRTU / WEIM settlements
•    Experience using technical tools like Excel, SQL, BI Tools, Python, etc to perform data analysis
