What you’ll be doing
This is a multi-faceted role ranging from the development and implementation of local sales strategy to successfully deliver the healthcare sales, profitability and pricing growth to contributing to the successful transformation and results of the UKI senior management team for the SSU. You will provide strong sales leadership across a broad range of products and market segments, empowering their team to capitilise on growth opportunities.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Lead and manage the sales team, driving tactical implementation and championing sales process and methodology
- Champion cross-functional working with service, commercial strategy and functional departments aligning on key stages of the sales process
- Ensure sales force excellence through quarterly business planning and effective monitoring of business performance through appropriate use of relevant analytics and metrics
- Ensure that customer and geographical coverage in the UKI is planned and measured and assess the optimum methods for reaching healthcare buyers
- Anticipate market trends, opportunities and challenges to enable appropriate uptake and share leadership
- Oversee the segmentation and strategy for each customer vertical and arm the business development team
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK and are willing to travel across the UKI.
You’ll have 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, in first and second line management.
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
- Managing a multi-division and multi-region sales teams for capital equipment and consumables
- Substantial industry experience with a focus on sectors including Medical Devices/ Technology
- Extensive understanding of NHS Procurement, Finance and policy
- Consultative and solutions selling experience and expertise
- Excellent financial acumen
- Demonstrable experience in a successful business process improvements, with an instrumental and identifiable role in the success
