The company
Our client is an acknowledged track and trace software business offering packaging, coding, authentication, and traceability solutions to combat counterfeiting and meet regulatory compliance. They work across several industries, such as Manufacturing, Food & Beverage but largely, their client base is made up of pharmaceutical businesses.   

The role
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, guiding and coaching the SDR and BDR teams as well as the executive selling efforts at high revenue and strategic value accounts. You will train the team in researching, identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities, and project management.
Other responsibilities include:
  • Monitor and participate in sales outreach
  • Creating and nurturing strong referral and channel partnerships
  • Support new account onboarding, training, and co-selling
  • Identify and validate growth opportunities in new markets
  • Ensure the successful execution of national sales programs
  • Gather and report on key metrics
  • Cultivate a positive team culture
  • Support the creation of a business plan
  • Carry out regular reviews with team members

 
The requirements
  • You will have 5+ years of experience in software sales, as well as…
  • Educated with a BA/BS degree or equivalent  
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience selling into Pharma, CPG, Supply Chain or Track & Trace
  • Understanding of market trends and needs
  • Able to work independently and collaborate in a team 
  • Prior experience selling in SaaS or/and Cloud software environment  
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills  
  • Demonstrated understanding of and success in the sales lifecycle such as prospecting, qualifying, overcoming objections and closing sales 
  • Comfortable performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

This role is remote across Germany.
