Process Engineer
North America
$95,000 - $125,000
Want to join one of the biggest producers of RNG at dairy farms across the US? We are seeking a Process Engineer in Texas!
A bit about the company and what they can offer you
Founded at a time when people were beginning to think about how they could replace fossil fuels, our client’s founders wanted to create a company with combatting climate change at its heart. The founders were true energy pioneers and early supporters of low-carbon fuel. The business has been built around this, and they now aim to eliminate carbon emissions in the transportation and dairy industries – two previously energy-heavy industries – by focusing on renewable natural gas. Ultimately, their mission is to create a healthier, cleaner planet and helping to pave the way to net zero.
What they’ll offer you? They’ve got a great benefits package from comprehensive medical insurance (covering dental and vision too), to stock options and a matched 401k pension to access to fitness centres with free training programmes and nutritional coaching.
What you’ll be doing
You will be in a key engineering role, within a dynamic and multi-functional team, working to deliver and operate successful RNG projects. You will demonstrate your skills by creating actionable plans, pursuing better ways to get things done and taking appropriate risks.
Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
- Preparing process flow diagrams
- Analysing the performance of existing operating facilities
- Determining plans to improve facility reliability and uptime
- Assisting with troubleshooting activities
- Creating enthusiasm about the company’s future
- Providing a clear direction and vision
- Controlling costs and thinking in terms of profit
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Texas and will travel to customer sites 20-50% of the time!
You’ll have experience surrounding the design and operation of renewable natural gas facilities (ideally 3-5 years) and have a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ideally chemical, process or mechanical)
- Enjoys analysing and interpreting professional journals, regulations and procedures
- Effective at writing reports and manuals
- Can comfortably present information and respond to questions
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts
- Ability to interpret and establish facts and draw valid conclusions and solutions
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Honest, ethical, trustworthy and value-driven
- A valid driver’s licence
