Do you have a track record of success in the pre-sales activities? Our client are searching for a Pre-Sales Engineer to play a key role in the pre-sales activities of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. If you’re excellent at building rapport with prospects and customising solutions to fit each customers unique needs, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing
As Pre-Sales Engineer you will play a critical role in the sales process by gaining an understanding of customers’ needs and showcasing the potential value of our clients ERP systems.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
• Conducting detailed consultations with prospective customers, understanding their pain points and ERP system requirements
• Customising ERP solutions to fit client-specific challenges
• Delivering engaging product demonstrations that highlight the capabilities of ERP software, addressing technical questions that arise
• Collaborate with the sales team on pre-sales activities, sales calls, and customers meetings, providing insight gathered from the market
• Staying informed on market tends and competitors’ offerings, identifying ways to differentiate
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the US.
You’ll have in-depth knowledge of ERP systems, with an understanding of how ERP solutions can be used to address operational challenges.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, clearly explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A strong analytical and problem-solving mind, having the capacity to creatively design solutions to meet customer needs
• Ability to build trust with customers and establish yourself as a credible and reliable advisor to the business
• Strong presentation skills; delivering impactful presentations and live demonstrations is key to this role
• Previous experience within ERP pre-sales is preferred
