We are supporting a world-renowned medical imaging company as they go through a period of rapid expansion within its oncology department. They are seeking an Account Manager to join their team and cover London, East Anglia, and South East.

The role

As an Oncology Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and maintaining existing accounts by developing a strong understanding of the product portfolio and building long-term relationships with customers. You will drive the development of local marketing strategies, visit customer sites, conferences and exhibitions, and report on all customer feedback accordingly. You will be working closely with dedicated Applications Specialists, receiving support from them with pre-and post-sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region. 
 

The requirements 

You’ll ideally have experience within the Oncology sector as well as strong sales experience with the ability to meet targets, as well as: 

  • Degree-level educated 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer-facing 
  • Capable of managing own diary and operating in a field-based role 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • A fast learner who presents a proactive approach, open-minded and independent 
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Valid driver’s license and willing to travel frequently within your territory
