Got a strong track record in medical device sales? Interested in supporting a world-first product? Our client is looking for a National Sales Manager for Germany to grow revenue in the region, build a team, and get their product portfolio out there. 

 
A bit about the company

It's not often you get chance to work with a genuinely ‘world first’ product portfolio, but you do with our client. Their mission is to alleviate the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes for patients around the world, using truly revolutionary therapy devices. They’re headed up by real business experts and industry veterans too. 

With 1.4 million people in the US alone diagnosed with diabetes each year, the work they’re doing is hugely important in making people’s lives better. And as a start-up this is a great opportunity to create your own business unit whilst representing a truly groundbreaking product. 


What you’ll be doing
Put simply, you’ll be leading the sales operations in Germany. You’ll cover everything from business planning to account management to actually selling the product – so it’s the perfect opportunity to use your strong sales skills to increase revenue in the region.  
 

Your day to day might look a little like this: 

  • Speaking with and managing your existing accounts 

  • Developing new accounts 

  • Spotting opportunities for sales 

  • Budgeting for the territory 

  • Managing sales operations 


A bit about you 
The main thing our client is looking for is a strong track record in medical device sales – even better if you’re familiar with bariatrics, endoscopy/GI or diabetes products.

The other things they’re looking for are: 

  • A good understanding of the German market 

  • Understanding of bariatrics, endoscopy and endocrinology 

  • Experience budgeting 

  • Able to grow and develop a team 

  • Willingness to be hands-on – high energy is great! 

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Fluency in English and German 

  • A scientific/medical-based degree is a plus, but not essential 

You’ll also ideally be located in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dusseldorf or Munich.
