What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will be a part of a growing team of ambitious engineers where you will lead on the development of the inverter from initial concept to production ensuring you are continuously pushing the barriers in terms of achieving the maximum quality and efficiency possible. You will utilise your vast experience in the Engineering industry to balance simulation, mechanical design, experimental testing and production capabilities in this uniquely fast-paced, innovative environment.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this: 

  • Leverage mechanical design analysis, simulations and tests 
  • Collaborate closely with the power electronic engineers selecting electronic components and integrated circuits 
  • Coordinate suppliers to include manufacturing at scale all along the development process 
  • Troubleshooting electronics assembly issues 
  • Organise prototypes and validation samples 
  • Proactively help in building a powertrain team capable of developing and shipping a full Powertrain System on its own 


A bit about you 
Ideally, you’ll be based in Barcelona, Spain.

You’ll have extensive experience (5+ years) in developing and bringing to market complex power electronics and high-voltage drive systems for automotive applications which will align you in the perfect position to thrive within this role.

A few other key skills our client is looking for: 

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or similar 
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent first-principle physics understanding of electrical and mechanical systems 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Deep knowledge of material selection and high-volume manufacturing processes 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced agile environment
