What you’ll be doing
You will play a critical role in the overall marketing strategy development of the business. This analytic-driven role will drive decision-making across product development, downstream marketing, sales training, pricing, business model and go-market and market entry strategies. Using deep market and data analysis to inform and guide high-level marketing strategies. The role will be pivotal in competitive intelligence and review of market trends to ensure the company is at the forefront of the market.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Gain deep market knowledge to define market entry and exit strategies, to maximise the company’s global impact
- Develop global business models to drive the company’s adoption, meet market needs, increase revenue and showcase customer ROI’s
- Define capital and clinical success benchmarks and measures to drive commercial effectiveness and strategic initiatives
- Define training metrics for customer education to maximise value of programs and impact on utilisation
- gain deep KOL insights to inform development of commercial strategic advisory boards to advance global development
- Manage the budget for upstream marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK.
You’ll have 7+ years in the MedTech sector; with marketing experience in a global business environment and in clinical settings
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
- Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for shaping the market changing the standard of minimally invasive surgery and driving business growth
- Experience leading market analysis, competitive intelligence, and deep market analytics
- Create and pragmatic thinking
- Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills to collaborate with local market and sales teams, influence others and present convincing arguments
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary
- Ability to succeed in a rapidly changing, agile environment where continuous innovation is requisite to success
- Medical device/ solutions sales or clinical consulting experience is a strong plus
