Do you possess a combination of technical ability, multi-lingual skills and commercial acumen? Our client is currently looking for an Enterprise Sales Account Executive to join their team in Germany and expand the customer adoption of their portfolio of solutions across Europe.

The company

FMC Talent is supporting a software vendor at the core of digital transformation in the process manufacturing space. With an established North American influence, they are seeking to bring their tailored process simulation software to tackle productivity and efficiency amongst customers across the European market. 

The role

As an Enterprise Sales Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in helping our client realise their vision of European expansion. You’ll be a true expert regarding our client’s process simulation software portfolio and leverage this knowledge to provide compelling solutions to key customers, including C-Suite, that will stimulate new business opportunities. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Building a sales pipeline that will guarantee recurring revenue 
  • Analysing the market to identify new sales opportunities 
  • Driving direct sales by prospecting into a new business, divisions, and locations
  • Acting as a customer advocate and promoting their voice 
  • Securing high levels of customer satisfaction 
  • Driving renewals 

The requirements

You’ll have strong (5+ years’) experience in enterprise software sales, with an ability to learn and communicate technical aspects of a product portfolio. Other requirements include:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline (Mathematics, Chemical Engineering or Computer Science is desirable) 
  • Able to grasp CAD, Simulation and SaaS software and navigate related industries (including Chemical and Manufacturing) 
  • Demonstrable ability to build new business sales pipelines 
  • Passionate about manufacturing industry developments 
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding quotas focusing on new business 
  • Confident and eager to network to build relationships with C-Suite customers 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office
  • Proactive, driven and able to thrive autonomously 
  • Fluent in English, German and another European language 
  • Able to travel up to 50% when required
