What you’ll be doing
You’ll drive growth by proactively identifying and securing new enterprise business. This role is dedicated to generating qualified leads through outbound strategies, engaging key decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term, strategic customers. The position is the primary engine for expanding the business’ market presence by building strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
- Develop and execute a strategic outbound sales plan targeting enterprise-level organizations
- Strong understanding of the technical elements of the product, acting as a consultant to customers
- Identify and qualify opportunities within target accounts, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and aligning the company’s solutions to drive business outcomes
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging and improve lead conversion strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, providing regular forecasts, pipeline updates, and sales activity reports
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Canada, or the US.
You’ll have sold into the US and had experience selling into manufacturing. Plus, enterprise experience selling > 100K ACV deals.
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proven track record in enterprise sales with a strong focus on outbound prospecting and new business development
- Experience selling complex solutions to large organizations, preferably selling B2B software into Manufacturing
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage lengthy sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and driven to exceed ambitious sales targets
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales automation tools
