FMC is supporting an excellent opportunity for a driven and tenacious individual with a keen interest in the healthcare industry and a strong commercial mindset to join a global medical device company. As part of our client’s continued growth, they’re seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team and help drive sales across the Midlands and East Anglia.

The company 
Our client is a global medical device company that delivers leading solutions for individuals whose lives are impacted by reduced movement. They have established an unparalleled reputation for world-class customer service across their Safe Manual Handling, Specialist Seating, Service & Rentals product portfolio. 

The role
Within this role, you will help to set regional-specific sales targets and create plans and initiatives for the business to exceed them. Through a combination of effective territory management and the creation of a network of key customer relationships, you will ensure that revenue and gross margin objectives are met.  
Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for each managed account 
  • Establishing a comprehensive Business Plan for the Midlands and East Anglia
  • Identifying and prioritising opportunities for sales
  • Developing and aligning a local strategy  
  • Working to drive product sales to support supplier partnerships  
  • Liaising with business partners to maintain and build business relationships 
  • Identifying and satisfying customer requirements  
  • Maintaining a high level of business knowledge and competitor activity  


The requirements
You’ll have a proven track record of over-achievement of targets within the Pressure area care market in the UK, as well as…

  • Degree educated 
  • 1+ years of experience in medical sales  
  • A keen interest in the healthcare industry 
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant industry segments 
  • Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office) 
  • Driven, warm, and passionate 
  • Commercial mindset 
  • Impeccable presentation, organisational and time management skills 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the UK
