Our client is looking for an experienced customer-centric Chief Product Officer to form a key component of the executive leadership team. The individual will be a strategic leader, placing customers’ problems at the heart of product innovation.

You will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, user-centred design, and a track record of successfully bringing innovative products to market.

The role 

In this role, you will define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and vision. You will offer effective recommendations for product positioning and pricing that generate increased revenue. 

Your day-to-day might look a little like this: 

  • Developing a clear and compelling product vision and strategy 
  • Creating and maintaining a product roadmap  
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing product team 
  • Staying on top of industry trends, competitor offerings and customer feedback 
  • Building the end-to-end product development process 
  • Overseeing the entire product lifecycle

The requirements 

The successful candidate will need to permanently relocate to Dubai and be comfortable with extensive global travel. 

They’re also looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, ideally with an MBA 
  • A proven track record of product leadership experience (15+ years) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to use a data-informed approach 
  • Ability to create strategies and align business objectives with customer needs 
  • In-depth knowledge of product development 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Handling product upgrades comes as a second nature to you 
  • Comfortable building and coaching a high-performing team
