Our client is seeking a Business Unit Manager – International Healthcare to sit in the realm of sales and business development activities for the Export market. This an exciting time to join their team as they seek to grow the distribution network with new product opportunities.

The role
This highly independent role will require you to delve across sales support, partner management and training activities. You will develop a strategic Export-focused plan to onboard new opportunities, develop the sales pipeline and improve customer satisfaction for all business units.
Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting customer and channel partner meetings in a remote environment
  • Building a professional network of key contacts
  • Delivering sales pitches to prospective customers 
  • Conducting field visits to establish our client as a valuable partner
  • Representing our client at exhibitions and courses
  • Conducting monthly forecasting and sales analysis
  • Setting and exceeding sales performance targets
 
The requirements
You’ll bring an extensive background (10-15 years) in the APAC healthcare space, with exceptional sales and account management acumen. Other requirements include:
  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline
  • Strong export experience (5+ years)
  • Hands-on sales individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with account management and onboarding processes
  • Proven track record of managing field service teams and achieving aggressive business growth
  • Excellent computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Force)
  • Well-articulated and confident in communicating (in written and verbal form)
  • Customer-focused and able to act with integrity
  • Able to cross-collaborate across departments
  • Confident decision-maker with an aptitude for negotiation
  • Detail-orientated, analytical and organised
  • Flexible and willing to travel when required
