Fancy putting your strong sales track record in medical devices to good use? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to improve profitability and support business growth across the South.

What you’ll be doing
Within this role, you will work closely with the upper limb team to improve and grow the Upper Extremities business across the South. This includes the identification of new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, and new products and service offerings to meet the needs of existing markets. You will establish relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this: 

  • Strategic planning and positioning in the market 
  • Enhancing the success of the business, position and reputation 
  • Nurturing relationships with key customer accounts 
  • Generating leads from the market 
  • Building a strong understanding of the product portfolio 
  • Training members of the team 
  • Attending conferences and events where appropriate  


A bit about you 
Ideally, you’ll be based in South West London.

You’ll have 3-5 years of experience in the orthopaedic medical device industry and a strong sales track record in medical devices. As well as knowledge of Shoulder Arthroplasty.

A few other key skills we are looking for: 

  • Degree in a scientific or business discipline 
  • Driving license and ability to travel 
  • Effective negotiator and excellent interpersonal skills  
  • Ambitious and driven to achieve results 
  • Tenacity, self-motivation and a ‘can-do’ attitude 
  • Comfortable working under pressure 
  • Can handle criticism and conflict
