Our client currently has an intriguing opening as the Business Development Manager to onboard their European sales team where you will encourage growth through the sale of the company’s software portfolio and various services.

The company
Our client is a global leader in the development of advanced software for the design, analysis, and optimisation of components for major manufacturers within aerospace, automotive, industrial, marine, and power generation industries across Europe, Japan, and the USA.

The role
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to oversee/manage the sale of the company’s products from initial contact to closure ensuring that the customers achieve maximum product performance and satisfaction. 
Other responsibilities include:

  • Research sales prospects and key stakeholders in target industries 
  • Engage with potential customers using constructive inbound and outbound techniques 
  • Attend product demonstrations with other senior sales and technical colleagues  
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Accountable for delivering quarterly and annual sales targets including achieving monthly KPIs 

The requirements
You’ll have a minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience, as well as…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business-related field
  • Motivated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic results-orientated environment
  • Strong presentation and sales skills
