Our client is offering an exciting new role to a dynamic and motivated individual as their Business Development Manager where you will work closely with the customer base to expand the company's reach and value.

The company
Our client specialises in distributing chemical products related to water treatment and purification, with a focus on eco-friendly products. Within this role, you will be involved in a corporate culture focused on customer satisfaction, team spirit, performance orientation and a sense of responsibility.

The role
In this role, you will combine the further development and follow-up of new customers/projects within your region as well as determining sales objectives and translating this into the development of strategic sales tactics. 
Other responsibilities include:

  • Nurture and grow the customer base  
  • Build long-term relationships with the customers having a solution-orientated mindset 
  • Help create new innovative products or solutions 
  • Perform audits to accurately determine customer needs 
  • Be a first contact for new customers 


The requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemistry or biochemistry, as well as…

  • Experience in the water sector or existing network in utilities wastewater 
  • Dynamic individual with sufficient interpersonal skills 
  • Commercial insight and ability to draw up your schedule 
  • Fluent in Dutch (French & English is a plus) 
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve
