Our client is an up-and-coming pioneer of a mapping and imaging solution blazing new trails across the reality-capture landscape. Having experienced a European expansion, they are now seeking to replicate their growth across America. As a tight-knit team looking to broaden, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a visible, high-impact role within their business.
The role
As a Business Development Lead, you’ll join a brand new role with a focus on our client’s untapped potential across the USA. You’ll develop and own a strategic business plan that you’ll take to a network of customers, key accounts and technical leaders in order to develop a sustainable base of business opportunities from which our client can expand. Working closely across Marketing, technical and channel departments, to develop a cohesive strategy that propels brand awareness and sales, hitting annual targets of $1.5+ million.
Responsibilities include:

Focusing on the Utilities and Telecom sectors

Identifying leads, generating new sales

Building strong relationships that translate prospect needs into opportunities

Developing and driving strategies that focus on new logo revenue

Maintaining an accurate pipeline and sales information

Collaborating effectively with prospects and internal stakeholders

Continuously researching key industry trends and market changes
The requirements
You’ll have at least 2 years of sales experience with an existing network in the Utilities or Telecommunications spaces, as well as:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (desirable)

Demonstrable experience in customer-facing role, ideally in a geospatial sales function

Proven ability to understand customer workflows

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding the revenue goal

Experience building relationships, identifying leads, and closing deals up

High energy and a natural business hunter

Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)

Collaborating effectively with prospects and internal stakeholders
