What you’ll be doing
As Area Sales Manager, your main aim will be driving sales growth in your assigned territory, developing and maintaining key relationships with eyecare professionals.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets in the North and Midlands regions
• Identify and engage with potential customers in the market including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and clinics
• Conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for customers
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities, feeding back these findings to the sales and marketing teams
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK and have the ability to travel across the two regions for work.
You’ll have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and demonstrated success in sales roles.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining key relationships with a diverse range of clients
• Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, you need to be able to close deals and foster customer loyalty
• Analytical skills to assess market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
• Proficient in the use of CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines effectively
