If you’re a natural with customers and have a keen interest in the automotive space, our client is looking for you to join their team as an Account Manager and represent their textiles portfolio across Germany.

The company 
Our client is a leading global supplier of automotive interior materials serving a wide range of OEMs and aftermarket customers. They are known for their innovative approach to automotive interior design, high-quality products, and strong commitment to sustainability.  
 
The role 
Your focus will be opening sales opportunities in both new and existing accounts. You will meet with automotive industry professionals and presenting compelling technical solutions to address their pain-points. To achieve this, you’ll focus on collaboration across departments – from Engineering and Programming to Design and R&D.

Responsibilities include: 
  • Sympathising with common problems caused in the automotive industry   
  • Utilising the power of referrals and network your away to new projects.
  • Supporting the sales process from business development through to negotiation 
  • Delivering solutions on time, to budget
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Managing information for the purchasing strategy

The requirements 
You’ll be someone who thrives in a client-facing role, with an ease for liaising across different customers and teams, as well as:
  • Experience with preparing offers with Engineering, Costing, Purchasing, Operations, Program Department, Design and R&D
  • An understanding of the textile development process
  • A networker who can develop and supervise business contacts for all customer departments
  • Proven self-starter with organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Analytical, methodological and strategic
  • Fluent in German is a plus
