Account Manager - Scotland
UK North
A bit about the company and what they can offer you
Do you want to tackle the waiting lists currently facing the NHS? This family-run company is doing just that, by influencing patient pathways to support quicker diagnosis and treatment. And with 10% of their turnover reinvested in R&D each year, they’re committed to making the future of healthcare better for everyone.
As you help their mission, they'll support you both personally and professionally with leading car allowance, healthcare and pension benefits. People and their individuality are at the heart of the business, so you can trust that they’ll really take care of you as an employee. Testament to this is the fact that the average length of service for them is 10 years! Plus, they’re a growing company, so this is the perfect time to join them and really make a difference.
What you’ll be doing
Put simply, you’ll be helping them grow their market share in the Scotland and Northern Ireland territory. You’ll be working with their radiology portfolio. This portfolio makes our client a top 3 player in their market so you can be sure the products you’re selling are the best of the best.
Your day to day might look a little like this:
-
Looking after sales activities in your territory
-
Building strong, long-lasting relationships with your accounts
-
Meeting with customers to introduce the product range to them
-
Helping the Sales and Marketing Manager to respond to tenders and create quotes
-
Keeping the CRM system up to date
-
Learning the latest about the product portfolio to pass on to customers
A bit about you
The main thing our client is after is someone who’s got sales experience in an aligned market, so imaging, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
Some of the other key things they’re looking for are:
- Someone who really understands the medical devices market
- A commercial mindset (if you’re a sales hunter, even better)
-
Top-notch communication skills
-
An understanding of the NHS and their guidelines/programmes
-
Able to approach a role strategically, with future growth in mind
-
Happy to travel across the territory with a full, clean driving licence
-
A degree in an aligned discipline would be a plus, but isn’t a dealbreaker
