Our client is currently looking for an Account Manager with a background in navigating sales in the energy space to join their team in New York.

The role 
As an Account Manager, you’ll join an international team to look after our client’s existing customers and develop new business with customers across the energy market. You’ll become an expert regarding the customer workflow and utilise your knowledge to independently facilitate renewals, uncover leads and drive effective sales strategies. You’ll join a fast-paced, high-performing environment that will provide you with genuine opportunities to progress both personally and professionally.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Establishing our client as an international player
  • Building trusted, credible customer relationships
  • Resolving queries to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Hitting and exceeding sales quota
  • Building expert knowledge of the energy markets
  • Maintaining a strong sales pipeline
 
The requirements
You’ll bring experience in account management and/or sales, ideally working within the energy space, as well as:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline 
  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Data, analytics, market research and or/ SaaS experience
  • Familiarity with selling to clients within banking, finance, insurance and the public sector
  • Able to provide compelling presentations and negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Flexible to travel (when permitted)
  • Strong drive and hunger to succeed
 This role is hybrid - with three days in the New York office.
