What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, with a primary focus on identifying and driving expansion selling and cross-selling opportunities. This includes proactively identifying additional needs within existing accounts, offering tailored solutions, and maximizing the value of our software products for each client
 
Your day to day might look a little like this:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication, site visits, and feedback sessions
  • Effectively communicate the software solutions and their capabilities to clients
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion by understanding clients' evolving needs
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensure smooth implementation, and work closely with clients to resolve any issues
  • Manage contract renewals, negotiate terms, and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities
 
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Dallas and are happy to do frequent travel for on-site visits and training.
 
You’ll have 3-5 years of experience in account management. Plus, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
 
A few other key skills our client is looking for:
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including key processes, challenges, and technologies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach to resolving issues
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
