Our client is looking for you to bring your entrepreneurial flair to their tight-knit sales team in the US. Having completed a Series B round of funding, they’re ready to scale up their presence across the renewable energy markets.

The role 
As an Account Director, you’ll focus on new business hunting across the US through managing entire sales cycles, from prospect to close. You’ll collaborate in multi-disciplinary team to develop account strategies that will allow you to unearth partnerships with key renewables and utilities players, for which you’ll leverage the value of our client’s unique solutions.

Responsibilities include: 
  • Leading and negotiating high price points to meet a financial target circa $1 million
  • Selling in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Working collaboratively with various teams in the business
  • Utilising the power of referrals and network your away to new projects
  • Delivering solutions on time, to budget
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Hitting and exceeding growth targets


The requirements 
You’ll have 3+ years  of B2B SaaS sales experience under your belt, with demonstrable success, as well as:
  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions in the energy, utilities and renewables markets
  • Self-starter with organisational skills and attention to detail
  • High level commercial acumen and business intelligence
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
  • Able to handle ambiguity with confidence 
  • Able to thrive in a client facing role
  • Strong team-working ability
  • Passionate about continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to travel across the territory (when permitted)
