Optrafair is a firm favourite of FMC Meditech’s. We’ve attended, we’ve exhibited, we’ve reviewed… and this year we’re attending again. It’ll be our fifth year running, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less excited.
It’s all about the technology
We love seeing all of the latest innovations in the world of ophthalmology on display at Optrafair.
With ultrawide-field imaging being one of the biggest innovations in the space, we’re anticipating a lot of buzz around Optos’ Monaco and Zeiss’ Clarus systems. We’re also looking forward to seeing Mainline Instruments’ Huvitz technology.
Dry eye solutions continue to be one of the biggest areas of development in the eye care space, with companies like Grafton Optical, Lumenis/Sigmacon and Quantel all vying for the top spot.
We’re also intrigued to see how this years’ exhibition compares to last year. There seems to be a much bigger focus on segmenting the event this year into fashion, medicalisation and optics – will this be reflected in the layout and networking opportunities?
