I am working alongside a world-renowned medical imaging company that is looking to hire an Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager to help sustain and continue its growth in the UK medical imaging market. This company are going through a period of huge growth and has witnessed 50% growth year on year for the past 3 years. They are looking to grow the team further and are keen to ensure they have the best team to take their market-leading products to market. 

 
The role 

Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager – Ireland (field-based role) 
£45,000 – £50,000 plus bonus, private medical care and an option for a company car or car allowance. 

As an Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and maintaining existing accounts by developing a strong understanding of the ultrasound and x-ray product portfolio. If you are talented at both opening new doors and then developing those accounts further, then this will be ideal for you. You will be working closely with dedicated Applications Specialists, receiving support from them with pre-sales and post-sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region. 

 
The requirements 

You’ll ideally have experience within the ultrasound or x-ray sector (Clinically or Commercially), as well as: 

  • Degree level educated 

  • Able to meet sales targets, ideally with Radiology Imaging Systems/Medical Equipment  

  • Capable of managing your own diary and operating in a field-based role 

  • A fast learner who presents a proactive approach, open-minded and independent 

  • Able to work on your own and manage your time effectively  

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer-facing 

  • Highly motivated and commercially minded  

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Valid driver’s licence and willing to travel frequently within your territory
