After a record-breaking year and growth across the world, our client is seeking an innovative VP of Global Marketing, to support the company’s scale agenda and continued success across various channels. This is a highly visible global role in the organisation, where you will continue to build and scale a high-performing team and create established materials based on tried processes.

The role

As VP of Global Marketing, you’ll play an integral role in developing and sustaining the value of our client’s brand. You will coach, motivate, and empower a substantial and growing team of 9 individuals to drive and deliver a global marketing strategy to achieve new business pipelines and revenue targets. With marketing at the core, your direct connections and collaboration with the other executives in the business will make all the difference. As a home-based role, you will embrace a virtual mentality, and offer trust, empathy and understanding as much as you would do face-to-face. You will be an individual who can overcome the challenges that a global virtual task force can bring. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Owning the global marketing strategy 

  • Executing innovative and high-impact campaigns 

  • Providing leadership to the global marketing team 

  • Driving clear and constant communication of goals and success metrics 

  • Evaluating performance and cost of acquisition 

  • Building a strong, positive, and constructive working relationship with the teams 

  • Understanding the challenges and importance of our client’s product portfolio  

  • Impacting upon pipeline values, average deal size, sales cycles, and close rates 


The requirements

You have proven experience in all functions of marketing including field, demand generation, channel, partner and corporate marketing and account-based marketing, as well as…

  • Experience in marketing cloud-based enterprise software is a must  

  • Demand generation experience with a focus on enterprise software and technology  

  • Prior experience developing and scaling the successful global execution of ‘go-to-market’ strategies and B2B online marketing tactics 

  • Robust experience in the relevant marketing tech stack including Marketo, SEO, lead management, and Salesforce 

  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills 

  • A strategic thinker  

  • High potential and optimism  

  • Works well under pressure 

  • Security Industry experience is a plus

  • Strong motivating skills and ability to provide leadership, direction, and mentoring

  • Comfortable leading dispersed remote teams and embracing the flexibility it brings
