Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse or Practice Manager looking for a fresh commercial challenge? A versatile, reputable player within the Veterinary industry is seeking a Sales Specialist to work across the South West and expand market share. 

The company 

We're working on behalf of the market leaders in endoscopy. With a product portfolio including instruments and devices for the entire field of human and veterinary medicine. The company utilises central image and data archiving systems to streamline and simplify minimally invasive surgery for convenient, comprehensive, and high in quality products.

The role

As a Veterinary Sales specialist, you will have the opportunity to specialise within a dynamic range of endoscopy-based products and use this knowledge to generate sales for both established customers and new leads. This role will require you to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing your own diary to meet deadlines and quota within your designated territory. You’ll also your entrepreneurial spirit to a wider team of entrepreneurial sales and marketing professionals focussed on pushing continuous improvement initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities include:
 

  • Selling products directly to Veterinary practices
  • Positioning our client as the partner of choice
  • Managing a set of accounts
  • Attending workshops, training courses and trade shows as a representative
  • Delivering an excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with documentation
  • Maintaining a high level of competitive intelligence
 

The requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong direct sales experience, preferably selling capital equipment into a clinical environment. Other requirements include:
 

  • A Veterinary Nurse qualification or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Working Veterinary knowledge with experience using a related field of products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Commercially driven and able to develop interpersonal relationships
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Highly organised with an aptitude for prioritization
  • Proficient computer literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel across the territory
  • Keen to go the extra mile where applicable

This role requires cover across South West England.
