FMC’s Digital Plant team are working closely with a fast-growing digital transformation provider. As part of their growth journey, they are seeking a talented Business Strategy Executive to create strategic business plans, undertake business development activities, and lead on consulting engagements.

The role

As Business Strategy Executive you will join an exciting and talented team to lead on engagements and developing business strategies for digital transformation. A core focus of your role will be developing strategies for strategic accounts, including working closely with their C suite and customer executives. You’ll be creating support collateral to help deliver the very best in value for customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and driving strategic business plans
  • Driving business relevance and customer value with IIoT
  • Working with the Strategic Account team to ensure customer success
  • Developing business models for customers
  • Developing new revenue strategies
  • Promoting the solutions suite and products to prospects
  • Working with C-Level executives to influence them on our client’s unique value proposition



The requirements

  • Over 7 years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, IIoT and the industrial sector
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree educated in a business-related discipline
  • Proven skills in consulting and business modelling
  • Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of operations in the industrial sector
  • Confident at communicating, particularly with C-Level management
  • Strong track record of driving long-term business results
  • Based in the Chicago area and able to travel frequently (up to 50%)
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • A strategic thinker
  • Experience with excel-based business modelling
  • Experience implementing consulting engagements
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
