Our client is searching for a self-sufficient individual to join their well-respected medical device organisation as part of the Uptime Support team. This is an excellent opportunity to represent a dominant medical device organisation and progress your career within a technical-based role.

The role 

As an Uptime Support Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that a diverse range of medical devices is used to the best of their capability within the hospital and healthcare environment. You’ll deliver classroom-style training aimed at improving customer equipment across several product ranges, you’ll analyse repair data to be utilised within business intelligence and build long-term relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues. 

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting medical professionals with training and proper use of the medical devices 

  • Conducting onsite Endoscope health checks 

  • Setting action plans to hit and exceed targets and KPIs 

  • Submitting monthly territory manager plans to your line manager 

  • Organising your diary and visits to hit and exceed role expectations 

  • Attending and contributing to monthly meetings to share best practice 

  • Ensuring that patients always have access to the correct products 

 
The requirements 

You’ll have medical, technical, or clinical experience, as well as… 

  • A bachelor’s degree in life science, business, or another relevant subject 

  • Experience in Endoscopy Decontamination 

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology 

  • Able to sell the concept of Uptime Support to end users 

  • Be comfortable working within a theatre, procedure, and decontamination environment  

  • Training sector experiences (desirable) 

  • Exceptional customer service skills 

  • Hyper-organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage your own diary 

  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills 

  • Strong presence in a room, able to capture people’s attention, and engage a team 

  • Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office) 

  • Full UK driving licence
