I am working alongside a world-renowned medical imaging company that are looking to hire an Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager to help sustain and continue their growth in the UK medical imaging market. 

 
The role 

Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager – Northwest (field-based role) 

£40,000 – £50,000 basic salary, highly rewarding commission-based bonus, private medical care and option for company car or car allowance.  

This company are going through a period of huge growth and have witnessed 50% growth year on year for the past 3 years. They are looking to grow the team further and are keen to ensure they have the best team to take their market-leading products to market. 

 

As an Ultrasound & X-Ray Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and maintaining existing accounts through developing a strong understanding of the ultrasound and x-ray product portfolio and building long-term relationships with customers. If you are talented at both opening new doors and then developing those accounts further, then this will be ideal for you. 

 

You will be part of a well-established and high-performing team who are responsible for managing a world-leading and extensive ultrasound and x-ray portfolio.  You will be working closely with dedicated Applications Specialists, receiving support from them with pre and post sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region. 
 
 
The requirements 

You’ll ideally have experience within the ultrasound or x-ray sector as well as strong sales experience with the ability to meet targets, as well as: 

  • Degree level educated 

  • Excellent understanding of the medical imaging market 

  • Able to develop strong sales strategies and implement them tactically 

  • Experience of selling into the NHS supply chain 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer facing 

  • Capable of managing own diary and operating in a field-based role 

  • Excellent customer service skills 

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills 

  • A fast learner who presents a proactive approach, open-minded and independent 

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 

  • Valid driver’s licence and willing to travel frequently within your territory
