Job description

Our client is seeking an Ultrasound Sales Specialist to play a crucial role in the success and growth of their product portfolio, via their distributor model, across the UK market. With your technical knowledge and expertise in the ultrasound environment and understanding of radiology, you will be responsible for building and developing sustainable relationships with important reference hospitals/GPO/KOLs. This is an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team.

The company

Our client has been well-established for over 30 years in the veterinary market across the UK and Ireland and has a rapidly expanding position distributing leading x-ray, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser equipment in the healthcare market. With our client’s small team of healthcare professionals, vets, engineers, and account managers they’re able to offer a professional, empowering service and the best possible care to their patients. Working directly for the OEM, you’ll be assigned to the UK resellers as their designated point of contact.  

 

The role

As an Ultrasound Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end product sales, as well as providing product training and applications support to the UK distributors and end-customers. By collecting, analysing, and reporting on product requests, you will feedback the latest product requests to the HQ team. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Sales target achievement 

  • Sales channel management 

  • Maintain current distributors and develop new sales channels 

  • Key project management 

  • KOL and reference site relationship building and maintenance 

  • Market information investigation 

  • Collect and update ultrasound manufacturer and product information 

  • Coordinate, support, and organise exhibitions, workshops, and seminars

 

The requirements

You’ll ideally be a qualified sonographer with experience working in a clinical Ultrasound environment, as well as… 

  • Sales experience or ability to demonstrate commercial acumen

  • An understanding of the NHS buying process

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills

  • Able to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Quick to adapt and manage change within the workplace

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Highly developed written, presentations and report writing skills

  • Customer and results-focused

  • Flexible, creative, and self-motivated

  • A positive and proactive attitude
