Are you a technically minded individual who thrives in a hands-on, customer-facing role? Our client, a world-renowned medical imaging company, is currently looking for an Ultrasound Sales Specialist to join their team and sell a world-class ultrasound portfolio across the South East.

The role

As an Ultrasound Sales Specialist, you’ll focus on maintaining and growing business in your territory by liaising with senior hospital staff and consultants to showcase our client’s products and services and address their queries. You be responsible for delivering customer satisfaction by putting strategies and processes in place to meet customer needs.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Identifying current and future prospects
  • Building strong, long-term stakeholder relationships
  • Hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Learning technical and methodological requirements of product portfolio
  • Being a product expert who can conduct demonstrations
  • Working as part of a close-knit commercial team
  • Maintaining a high level of competitive intelligence
  • Representing the company at exhibitions and meetings


The requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong commercial background with track record of sales success, as well as:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with information gathering and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to synthesise complex issues into simple messages
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated to work independently
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong computer literacy skills (including MS suite)
  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly


Although most of your travel will be throughout the South East, you should be comfortable travelling further for training and exhibitions when required.
