In 2018, 100% of this medical imaging manufacturer’s customer base rated their ultrasound products as good to excellent. They are currently investing extensively in increasing their already significant share in the UK ultrasound market and in doing so need to make sure they have the best sales team to make this happen.
 

The role

Ultrasound Sales Specialist
Territory covering Oxfordshire and Berkshire
On target earnings in excess of £75,000

You will be a key part of a well-established and high-performing team who are responsible for managing a world-leading and extensive ultrasound portfolio. This role is being opened to further develop business in an area where there are huge opportunities for growth. If you are talented at both opening new doors and then developing those accounts further then this will be ideal for you.

You are going to be a specialist in this company’s advanced, high-quality ultrasound equipment. You will be able to pass on your enthusiasm and knowledge of ultrasound, by providing solutions to both the NHS and private hospitals. Having experience of selling to NHS supply chain and directly to stakeholders will be a real asset in this position.

You will also be paired up with a dedicated Applications Specialist for your area, receiving support from them with pre and post sales to help you deliver a strong sales output for your region.

The package this role offers is very attractive as well. It will include a % commission for orders placed, company financial bonuses and more bonus opportunities for exceeding your personal sales targets. So, plenty of chance to boost your earnings here.

Along with that you will receive private medical, a competitive pension and a huge range of company vehicle options to choose from.

Although most of your travel will be throughout Oxfordshire and Berkshire you should be comfortable travelling further for training and exhibitions when required.

The requirements

An excellent understanding of ultrasound products, along with the following is desirable:

  • Demonstrable track record of hitting targets in healthcare sales.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer facing
  • Experience of winning business via NHS Supply Chain
  • A good understanding of the UK Ultrasound market
  • Experience of managing clients through long term sales cycles.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across your territory and occasionally UK wide.
