In 2018, 100% of this medical imaging manufacturer’s customer base rated their ultrasound products as good to excellent. They are currently investing extensively in their full ultrasound portfolio and in doing so need to make sure they have the best team to bring it to market.

The role

Ultrasound Applications Specialist
Territory covering East Anglia, including Cambridge, Bedford, Norwich, Chelmsford, etc.
Up to £48,500 basic salary, package is market leading including commission-based performance bonus, private medical and a huge range of company vehicle options to choose from.

This role will put you in a well-established and high-performing team who are responsible for managing a world-leading and extensive ultrasound portfolio. Your value to the business will not go unnoticed and you can expect to be heavily rewarded for the hard work you put in.

You are going to become a specialist in this company’s advanced, high-quality ultrasound equipment. You will be able to pass on your enthusiasm and knowledge of ultrasound, by providing excellent training to clinical members of staff in both NHS and private hospitals. You will be paired up with a dedicated Regional Sales Manager, supporting them to deliver a strong sales output for your region.

Although most of your travel will be throughout the region of East Anglia you should be comfortable travelling further for training and exhibitions when required.

The requirements

An excellent understanding of ultrasound products, along with the following criteria is desirable.

  • Clinical experience working with ultrasound equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when customer facing
  • Accustomed to the software/IT systems associated with Ultrasound.
  • Postgraduate qualification, or equivalent, in medical ultrasound.
  • Demonstrable track record in training other individuals on medical imaging products.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across your territory and occasionally UK wide.
