I am working alongside a world-renowned medical imaging company that is looking to hire an Ultrasound Applications Specialist to help sustain and continue their growth in the UK ultrasound market. 


The role

In this role, you will become an ambassador for an advanced, state of the art ultrasound portfolio. This company have experienced 50% growth for the past 3 years and continue to have an excellent company culture and family-owned roots. 

This role will allow you to enhance and develop your skills in ultrasound while working for a company that truly values the pivotal role you perform in their business. Through extensive training and development and utilizing your clinical knowledge of ultrasound, you will be able to become a highly adept and expert Ultrasound Applications Specialist in no time. 

You will be able to pass on your enthusiasm and knowledge of ultrasound, by providing excellent training to clinical members of staff in both NHS and private hospitals. You will work alongside the Account Managers, supporting them to deliver a strong sales output for your region. 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring customers are fully trained on our client’s products

  • Delivering specialist support to ensure all equipment is demonstrated to its best advantage 

  • Liaising with the Sales & Product Manager to ensure that the latest information is available for users, including attending international meetings 

  • Managing the customer feedback loop at all stages of the sales process 

  • Supplying feedback to the management teams 

  • Providing support at courses delivered by key accounts/customers 

  • Regularly visiting customer sites to ensure satisfaction

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies 

  • Creating supporting documentation for products including formal applications reports 

The requirements

You’ll have a background as a Sonographer, as well as…

  • Degree Level Educated in a relevant discipline 

  • Experience working within the commercial sector is desirable 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills 

  • Able to deliver a high standard of customer service 

  • Highly motivated, drive and enthusiasm   

  • Flexible and willing to travel internationally (when permitted) 

  • Full UK driving licence
